On July 1st Forró in Karlsruhe e.V., celebrates its Festa Junina at the Veggiezz.

Festas Juninas have a long tradition throughout Brazil, but are particularly popular in the Northeast, home of Forró. They are rural folk festivals to celebrate the end of the rainy season.
The highlight of every Festa Junina is the Quadrilha, a dance performance!
There will be a quadrilha performance there!
Our dance teacher Fábio Reis will rehearse a choreography with a fixed dance group of maximum 12 couples. The 3 practice evenings are Monday, (12th, 19th and 26th), from 8pm to 10pm at the Veggiezz. Participation is free!

Die Festas Juninas haben in ganz Brasilien Tradition, aber im Nordosten, wo auch der Forró zu Hause ist, sind sie besonders populär. Es handelt sich hierbei um ländliche Volksfeste, um das Ende der Regenzeit zu feiern.
Highlight einer jeden Festa Junina ist die Quadrilha, eine Tanzaufführung!
Am 1. Juli feiern wir, Forró in Karlsruhe e.V., im Veggiezz unsere Festa Junina. Dort möchten wir eine Quadrilha aufführen. Und ihr könnt mitmachen!
Unser Tanzlehrer Fábio Reis wird mit einer festen Tanzgruppe von maximal 12 Paaren eine Choreographie einstudieren. Die 3 Übungsabende dazu sind Montag, (den 12., 19. und 26. Juni), jeweils von 20h – 22h im Veggiezz. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos!
